Q1: Do you only tutor A Level Maths?
No - my main focus is A Level Maths and Further Maths, but I also provide GCSE Maths tuition. This includes students looking to improve grades or those needing support to secure a pass.
Q2: Are your lessons online only?
Yes, all tuition is delivered online. This makes lessons flexible and accessible from anywhere. Online teaching also allows interactive whiteboards, screen sharing and recorded explanations if needed.
Q3: Can I book daytime sessions?
Absolutely. Daytime sessions are ideal for sixth form and college students who want focused study periods, extra revision, or thorough A Level exam preparation. Evening and weekend slots are also available.
Q4: How do you personalise tuition for each student?
No two students are the same. I assess each learner’s strengths, gaps and goals to create a tailored lessons that focus on their individual needs. Lessons combine clear explanations, practice questions and exam technique.
Q5: Can you help with exam preparation?
Yes. I provide structured support for A Level exam technique, revision planning, problem-solving and university entrance assessments. GCSE students also benefit from focused revision and confidence-building.
Q6: How quickly can I see improvement?
Most students notice increased confidence and understanding within a few weeks of regular, personalised tuition. Progress depends on lesson frequency, engagement and starting point, but structured tuition consistently produces measurable results.
Q7: Do you only teach students who are struggling with maths?
No. I work with a wide range of students, including high-achieving learners aiming for top A Level grades. Many of my students are targeting A/A* and need stretching beyond standard classroom teaching.
Q8: Do you support students aiming for top universities like Oxbridge?
Yes. I’ve taught students from grammar and independent schools who are preparing for competitive university courses, including Oxbridge and other leading UK universities. My focus includes developing the depth and precision needed for top-grade performance.
